Artist Biography by Nice Jeferson a.k.a EKTA 
     The Ras Hood, a controversial figure and a superstar in his homeland of Zimbabwe , Tinovimba Maborder was hailed as one of the leading new artists to emerge from the dancehall scene following the release of his 2006 debut album, _"Mwari Ndichengete_". Born and raised in the Marondera district of Zimbabwe, The Rashood was only 13 when he released his first single, "Mwari Ndichengete,"  In 2007 , he formed with his friends  DJ M SQUARED and CHRIS JNR, the group called F1. Rashood would keep the group's name in altered form and became a solo artist; he soon became the prot�g� of popular  singer Nyasha Zhuwao.
Rashood rose up on his own in 2012 with a string of solo hits including "Rams kana VanVicker," and "Most High," along with some collaborative hits with  singers like Manyika and Sama SLIM . Being crowned 2011 Best dancehall artist of the year  meant the singer had officially arrived amongst the  Zimbabwean dancehall community, but a year later he would break on a worldwide level, releasing his debut  Vakuru ve Mhirizhonga  to wide acclaim while making headlines to an on-stage clash with Templeton & Tabo Belly . during the Sting festival in RASHODD's hometown of Marondera.


In 2017 "Are you ready" single became a huge hit for The Rashood, spawning two more follow-up singles that would also climb the charts.. more to come... _watch the space_...

hard times in life

There are some times which we feel the seizure
of life coming.
The times which we feel like giving up
everything we have.
The times which we feel empty, blank, and the
times we feel very alone.
Those are challenges. Hard to break.
Those are the same times which we wonder if
our future will be okay.
If our lives are going to be the same again..
And if the choice we've made were the right.
Those are the pacts we've already taken, hard to
break.
Almost everyday, we meet new people.
Almost everyday, we think different.
And almost everyday, we learn something new.
Those that we learn, meet, and the minds we
come up with are but just hard to break.
We seem to make the right descisions.
Have the right thoughts. . .
And we seem to be sure about ourselves. .
Misjudment proves all our mistakes. Hard to
break.
Even if reversable, there are some things which
we might not want to reverse.
Or incapability, but just because. . .
There is a certain power behind everything. .
The power to conduct every element into the
way it should be.
One might not die today to save tomorow's life.
Its the path.
You might be dead alive.
You might lose courage of life.
You might give up all you have.
But all is for a reason.
Be weak today for you are to be strong
tommorrow.
Feel the end of the road coming for you to build
another till you come to the destination.
